Yoga | Do your bit daily

The evolution of word ‘Yoga” ,comes from the Sanskrit word “Yuj” meaning to yoke, join or unite. Which is joining or integrating all aspects of the individual – body with mind and mind with soul – to derive a happy, balanced and useful life, and spiritually, uniting the individual with the supreme power?

Yoga is an ancient and scientific Indian physical and mental practice to keep our health and mind in good shape. Yoga is a concept which was originated more than three thousand years ago. It helps to rejuvenate our mind and body by meditating and other ways and helps us extending our life for more than generally applied rules.

There is a very popular myth in West, and also in India, is that Yoga is actually Hatha Yoga, which is only the system of bodily postures. But yoga is broader and primarily a spiritual discipline. That doesn’t mean that Hatha Yoga is a smaller phenomenon. It’s a wonderful system as body is also part of our human nature and required to be kept fit. But, one who want to find gods are less interested in Yoga Postures.
